Laura Nazzaro is a Board Certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a total of 11 years experience in the field. She received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University and her graduate degree from University of IL Chicago. She is currently working on a doctorate from University of South Carolina. Her specialties include treating depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other common mental health problems in both children and adults. In addition to clinical duties, she has served as a clinical instructor for dozens of nurse practitioner students pursuing psychiatric studies. She holds memberships with both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the North Carolina Nurses Association. She enjoys working closely with patients and patient’s family members. She approaches every individual with respect and nonjudgmental way.
