National Mental Health Counseling week is around the corner. May 11-17. Thanks counselors for all you do!

Jaime received her master’s degree in clinical social work from Fordham University in New York City in 2008. With over 17 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, Jaime has contributed significantly to adolescent and adult psychiatric care, including roles in prestigious programs such as the RAP (Recognition and Prevention) Program at Long Island Jewish Hospital. Her research focused on identifying early symptoms of Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia in adolescents.
Since relocating to South Carolina with her family in 2014, Jaime has continued her impactful career in various adolescent inpatient units, clinics, and private practice settings. She specializes in high-conflict divorce and custody cases, providing expert testimony. Jaime is also actively involved in the National Association of Social Workers Board of Directors.

Jaime's therapeutic approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of adolescents and children experiencing high-conflict divorce and custody battles.

Outside of work, Jaime enjoys playing guitar and spending time with her two children, aged 12 and 15.
