Wanda Carrington, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Wanda Carrington is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who assesses clients’ mental health while focusing on health promotion and disease prevention. She specializes in patients of all age groups and is fluent in Spanish. She has been a registered nurse since 2013 and has experience in acute mental health and substance abuse detoxification settings. Wanda also has experience in caring for patients with Major Depression, Bipolar, Autism Spectrum, Generalized Anxiety, Substance Abuse, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation, Post-Traumatic Stress and Psychotic disorders. She was raised in Brooklyn, New York and recently moved to Concord, NC. She loves to spend time with family and friends. All of her nursing experience has been in mental health and she is passionate about providing the best quality care to all her clients.
