Kara Riedl, LCSWA

Kara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who has worked
with children, adolescents, young adults, and families for over 15
years. Prior to moving to North Carolina, Kara worked as a therapist in
both outpatient and inpatient facilities in NY serving children and their
families. Since moving to Charlotte, she has taught at UNC Charlotte
and Wingate in their social work and Psychology programs. She has
experience with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, child sexual
abuse, anger management, and attachment issues. As a therapist,
she believes in empowering individuals by providing them with
resources and strategies to help them to gain confidence and
autonomy. Her eclectic approach to treatment include CBT, play
therapy, expressive therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution
focused therapy. It is her intention to create a safe and welcoming
space for clients to begin their courageous journey toward healing.
