Janelle Mahoney is an ANCC board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who completed her MSN at the University of South Alabama. Her 10 years of nursing experience includes child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, and cardiovascular-surgical intensive care. She strives to help each patient determine how medication may fit into their overall mental health care by developing authentic connections with patients and staying up to date on current therapies. She has volunteered for the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) Helpline, enjoys discovering new hiking trails and music in her spare time, and is a grateful 25-year practitioner of Iyengar Yoga.
